Bandung Creative Hub, the Center for Bandung's Creative People

Bandung, 18 December 2017 a�� Bandung Creative Hub is an iconic, six-story building located in Jalan Laswi No. 5, Kota Bandung, West Java. Eye-catching from the outside with its unique, extruding exterior, Bandung Creative Hub exhibits more than 20 rooms and spaces, which consists of community gathering spaces, fashion and art galleries; dance, drama, and music studios; interactive classrooms; creative library; a large cinematic theater to hold up to 100 people; and an amphitheater equipped with two big screens.

Bandung Creative Hub acts as a continuous effort by the Bandung city government to support this blooming creative communities in the city that span a wide range of industries and fields. Crowned as the Creative City of Design by UNESCO in 2015, the second after Pekalongana��s crowning as the City of Craft and Folk Art the year previous, Bandung deserves a place where creative people gather to express their creativity and drive economic growth. a�?Bandunga��s creative communities have immense potential to attract tourists,a�? BCH’s exterior is intentionally designed to be eye-catching with a unique, extruding exterior, decorated with bright palette of colors to represent the creativity within its premises. BCH exhibits more than 20 rooms and spaces in its six-story high premises, which consists of

  • 1st Floor / Ground Floor:A�CafA�, Design Store, Storage & Mushola
  • 2nd Floor:A�Lobby Entrance, Library, Coffee Shop & Co Working Space
  • 3rd Floor:A�Auditorium (Movies Room), Music Studio, Archieve Design Space, Public Gallery (Exhibiton Space), Games Studio, Animation Studio, Multimedia Studio
  • 4th Floor:A�Photography Studio, Class Room (4 Rooms), & Management Office
  • 5th Floor:A�Fashion Gallery, Multipurpose Room, & Craft Room, and
  • 6th Floor: Rooftop Garden.

BCH is under the general management of Bandung City Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar Kota Bandung) and Bandung City Head of Creative Economy Division (Kepala Bidang Ekonomi Kreatif Kota Bandung), with daily operations managed by Building Technical Implementation Unit (UPT Gedung Ekonomi Kreatif Kota Bandung). Program and content is supervised by the Creative Economy Committee (Komite Ekraf) Kota Bandung.

Bandung Creative Hub will open its doors to the citya��s creative people on BCH Fest, a three-day festival that celebrates creativity, art, and design which will be held in Bandung Creative Hub on December 28-31, 2017, with Bandung city mayor Ridwan Kamil.
